Shawn wasn't just a good man he was one of those rare people who genuinely made the world a better place for everyone around him. If you knew Shawn, you know exactly what I mean. He was the guy who would drop what he was doing to help someone. The guy who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. The guy you could always count on, no matter the situation. Even while going through chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Shawn continued to fight with the same determination and strength that he carried throughout his entire life. Then, in a cruel and unexpected turn of events, he suffered a heart attack and was taken from us far too soon.

Shawn leaves behind his wife, Kristy, and their sons, Colby, AJ, and Danny. They weren't just his family they were his entire world. Everything Shawn did was for them. He worked hard every day to provide for them, and make sure they had everything they needed. He was proud of his family and talked about them often. Kristy is facing not only the heartbreak of losing her husband and best friend, but also the overwhelming financial burden that comes with such an unexpected loss. As a para at the middle school, she has dedicated her own life to helping others, and now she needs the support of the community that Shawn and their family are a part of.

If you are able, please consider donating to help with funeral expenses, household bills, and giving Kristy, Colby, AJ, and Danny some stability as they navigate the difficult days ahead. No donation is too small, and if you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world. Shawn loved his family fiercely. He loved his friends. He loved making people laugh. He loved Naruto. He loved helping others. Most of all, he lived a life that mattered. Thank you for helping us honor a man who gave so much of himself to everyone around him. Rest easy, brother. We love you, and we'll never forget you.
